Chris Hamilton roared to victory in the Modified Feature race at New Jersey's historic Wall Stadium this weekend.  It was the Oakland racer's second race of the season, having landed a top 10 finish to kick off 2013.  Hamilton's #20 was armed with the new Talon-A Oval Track Late Model brake system by The Brake Man for asphalt and paved oval track Late Models and Super Late Models.

Ray Guss Jr. scored an emotional victory this weekend at Quad City Speedway in Illinois by winning the Hershel Roberts Memorial Race.  It was the third time Gus won the event honoring his late friend and team owner.

The achivement also marked the 28th career win in the series for the two-time IMCA champion, making Guss the second most-winningnest Deery Brothers Summer Series driver ever.  (Read full story)

Not content with the fact no one was close to his record smashing 6.99 / 206MPH NMCA West run from last season, 2012 champ Al Jimenez blasted out a 6.84/211 MPH to reset his own world's fastest leaf spring car record at the 2013 season opener. The qualifying run set Jimenez up to win the event the following day. Jimenez was once again running with The Brake Man brakes on board, just as Sean Ashe was on the other coast two weeks ago for the NMCA opener when he also set a record and won that event.  (Read full story)

Sean Ashe, one of the big-time players on the X275 circuit, scored an insane 7.29 blast at over 195 MPH at the NMCA season opener in Bradenton, Florida.  Sean pulled this record breaking run equipped with The Brake Man brakes, a 406 cubic inch small block Ford engine motivated by a ProCharger F-1X supercharger, and a lightweight TH400 transmission.
